Stayed here for honeymoon & would not hesitate to return. Being a newly built resort the gardens, pool, rooms, restaurant and bars are extremely well maintained and have a great relaxing feel. The service of the resort staff was so friendly and any requests were produced without fuss. The food at the restaurant was delightful (not suprising with a chef who was the personal chef of the king & queen of Jordan for 2 years)and a short stroll along the beach brings you to the quaint fishermans village with plenty of restaurants and shopping to enjoy. Cons - Restaurant food a little pricey, but probably should be expected.

Nora Buri Resort & Spa

Nora Buri Resort & Spa Samui - Viewvery stylish rooms, close to beach & everythign you need at the resort..                The 5 star hotel seems very appealing on the internet but the reality is quite different. The hotel is enormous and they still build it to make it even bigger. Our villa was away from the beach. The good news is that hotel provides a little car to pick people up from their villas because the road is very narrow and steap. Breakfast was quite great. We once had lunch at the restaurant and decided not to do it again. The food was good but quite expensive. Everything was very slow and the restaurant staff seemed not to be very happy. When we asked for the bill it was quite more than what we ate and they corrected it afterwards, good tat we took a look. There are no enough places on the beach for all the hotel guests. If you like to sit around the pool, you may like it because it has 2 swimming pools. But if you like to be on the beach it is not great. The view from the room was nice although we hardly stayed there. The staff at the reception was polite. There was that guy, probably the manager, looking up after everything to be OK and he assisted us quite few times to get what we wanted because he spoke english. The little Chaweng "city" is 10 - 15 minutes away from the hotel which is quite isolated. The good thing is that the hotel provides couple of free shuttles to and from there for it's guests.
